Speaking from a strictly numbers basis.... yes, homosexuality is "abnormal" in the sense of percentage of total adult men and women who are self-identified as homosexual. I also happen to agree that it is a mental, emotional, and spiritual perversion. YMMV.

Wow, that's some very wishful thinking. In contrast, I'll bet that the vast majority of men who are outspoken about homosexuality are simply disgusted by the thought of two guys going at it and are sickened when others purport homosexuality to be either no big deal or a good and normal thing. Others have qualms about it due to the Bible's take on it and homosexuality's self-destructive nature as well as its danger to the moral welfare of a people or nation. Of course, YMMV.

High intelligence IS abnormal. However, high intelligence isn't also seen by most people as aberrant (i.e.: unacceptable due to moral, disease control, population survival reasons, etc.).

So they instead play around with other women. This way they don’t have to worry about pregnancy or with developing long term emotional commitments. And what about men who do have access to women yet still choose homosexuality? To a certain extent this is probably cultural. There is a “gay” culture and homosexuality is a requirement to be part of it. And then there are a variety of psychological and hormonal reasons why some men might choose to be exclusively homosexual. And some men go through a homosexual phase or are bisexual too. The only thing in common these factors have is the symptom of wanting to have homosexual sex. There is no one root cause and each individual cause probably has its on set of other symptoms and behavioral effects. |
