What does this do?

You see them at walmart SAMs in this case when the doors opens the fan kicks on.     Why?   What does this do?


I will post.  Blow air before some smart ass does ;)

That is an Air Curtain...I am serious. Google it.



ETA: In case you do not want to google it...  It keeps the air trapped inside in the building hence an air curtain.  When many people go in and out of a building it helps keep the inside AC regulated.  The air curtain blocks the AC air from leaving the building.
