Has anyone put one of these Bushmaster Stubby stocks on their AR? Sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I'm a pretty big guy, but sometimes I'll shoot my AR with the stock collapsed. I've actually discovered that in some positions I just can't get into position quickly with my nose on the charging handle. Bringing the rifle in seems to make sense to me. I also think that I prefer the simplicity of an A2 stock to a telestock. One less thing to go wrong. |
| I don't know if they're the same thing, but I've tried an RRA "Entry" stock. If you're smaller like me (5'9"), it would probably be comfortable. If you're lanky and tall, the LOP may be way too short. Might be good if you find yourself wearing a ton of armor often. |

I have a RRA Entry with a 1" extended pad on a 9mm AR - I'll get some measurements for you. Honestly, if you're going to go that route check out the Sully Stock - IMHO, it balances a longer barreled AR much better than the RRA/Bushy Entry style, and its solid. It also has a 1" extension for $5 additional. I'll get those specs and posts back up with some pics. |

Whats to go wrong with a good carbine stock? My Magpul CTR stock has been bashed on the ground trying to "mortar" it when practicing clearing Bolt over rides with live rounds, it was not lightly either. "Fuck this thing wont come out" *Bash stock repeatedly on giant rock* "Fuck still stuck" *Repeat until cleared*
