| You lost despite playing dirty. |
|
Fuck the Ravens... They hardly beat the Steelers with Dennis Dixon at the helm and they couldn't put the Steelers away this week when they had a depleted offensive line and a hobbled QB with a broken nose.
Ravens, nothing but the fucking Clowns in a different wrapper. |

You guys barely scraped a win, hardly an assfucking That was the Ravens game to win... All they had to do was seal the deal. They got ass fucked! ETA: Not only was this a game, it was for the DIVISION. That just adds to the lulz! |

I would, but then again, had there not been any "uncalled fouls", I'd of been more disappointed in how we played as a team. I know that's easy to say now, but we've played a couple pretty shitty games and I'll be the first to admit. I've been rooting for Pittsburgh for over 15 years now we've had some bad seasons, but we've had some good ones as well. |

Want to talk about playing dirty? James Harrison threatened to retire because the NFL won't allow him to headhunt defenseless backs and wideouts anymore. |

I love classy Steelers fans. Their team sneaks out a win in the last few minutes and they gloat. Hey, remember last week when the Bills almost beat you?
And by the way, the shot that broke the date rapists nose* was a fluke. The guy was coming in with both arms open to make the tackle and his forearm happened to get in the birdcage. If they did that at full speed 10 more times, I bet they couldn't get the angle right to catch forearm to nose. It's called an accident and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. The hit on Heath? I cringed. I don't want to see any serious injuries and that looked bad, but it was clearly shoulder to helmet. Perhaps you'd be fine with it if it were Harrison going helmet to helmet for the 5th time this year? Just as long as it happens to another teams player, right? -I am not a ravens fan, but I do hate the steelers, mainly because of their fans. Good times bread arrogance, and New England and Pittsburgh prove it. * allegedly |

Well the "suckit steelers" threads earlier this year were just as stocked with whine as these Take a win, take a loss. I got bragging rights in october, now its your turn. Quoted:

This is not a city, or nation of fairweather fans, We've been die-hard since before I was born. |

Hey Ratbirds,
Be glad we still had Jeff Reed as a kicker in the previous meeting this year. You won by 3 points. Reed was 0/2 on field goals that day (missed more than 10 total before being booted from the team). Should never have gone to OT. You should feel lucky that Jeff Reed let you win the last one!

.....* allegedly I'm usually a gracious winner. I enjoy sports and sportsmanship. But when it comes to the Ravens, all bets are off. It's part of being a division rival... maybe someday you'll understand. The hit on Ben was a fluke, but I didn't see anybody in this thread talking about that until you brought it up. The Miller hit was disgusting and should have been called. Bottom line, if you're going to call the game a certain way, than call it that way. I appreciate your attempt at patronizing language, but I can assure you I understand the battles between division rivals. I'm a life long Bills fan and I still remember wars with the Dolphins. Kelly vs Marino. The games took on a life of their own. Hell, on Bryan Cox's (Miami LB) wiki bio, the second paragraph tells about him getting ejected from one of the games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryan_Cox Now I want to know honestly, what do you think the Miller hit should have been called? Would you fine the player? |

Would you fine the player? I'd explain it exactly the way Collinsworth did. Jesus, the league called during the game and said it should have been a penalty... I don't know why you want an explanation from me. The refs have been calling it tight all season long. If a defensive player even looked at a "defenseless" player's head during a play it was going to get called on a personal foul. The hit on Miller was the very definition of the rule they've enacted. I'd be pissed if that was Lee Evens, let alone Miller. I appreciate being lumped in with the rest of the Steelers fans you've grown to loathe. As a Bill's fan, I'd be bitter too. Four times dude... four times. And such a good team to boot. |
