I used to play back in the day but havent in a while. I've been toying with the Chess game included in Win7. Does anyone know if the AI is able to learn?

I was on a winning streak for a while but now the computer is starting to kick my ass, badly. I haven't changes the level setting yet.

I like some of the speed games. Not the split second ones but the ones where you have to play in 10-20 seconds or so.

I like it.  I started learning last year. Play every once in a while.

'Undo' is my favorite move.

I see things right after I make my moves sometimes.

My father and I will enjoy a game on a winter night with some 'nog or whatever else sounds tasty.

There was a long period when I was growing up where that was all he could afford to do when we were together, yet those are some of the most valuable times in my memory
Those times are made even better when I finally was able to beat the old bastard

And now I devote this post to him, because of him I am who I am today, able to stand upright and look the world in the eye
I love you Dad

I get in the chess tournament every spring here, but I only practice for a few weeks before hand.  Then I get spanked pretty good.  The doctor in town usually wins, but this last year a philipino guy took first, doc took 2nd, and the guy who owns the toy store took third.  small town.  I beat two guys.  Then I practice hard for the next two months so I can whip ass next year, burn out and dont play again until spring.

vicious cycle.
