I just installed FireFox but can't read the text here as well as I could on IE.

I have my text on the largest size here in my Profile Preferences.

The text with FireFox is too thin, it is bolder with IE.

I tried going to Tools, Options in FireFox and playing around with those settings but nothing makes it like it is with IE.

Can anyone help? I like FireFox so far and would hate to go back to IE because I can't read the text here.

The size is alright, I just want to darken it, make it bolder or something.

I'm 55, don't wear glasses...maybe I should. But I had no problem seeing with IE.

Tried that.

If I uncheck the box to stop AR15 from using it's text things aren't right and it then uses the same text on all websites. I don't like that option.

If there was a bold option....

I checked a few other forums and I;m having the same problem with most of them.

I guess I'll just use IE.

Here's what I had, but it looks much better here than it does did on my monitor.

IE

Firefox

Tools-Options-Content & Advanced

Proportional = Serif

Serif =Select a font you like and a font size

Sans-Serif = select a font type you like

Monospace = select a font you like

There is a minimum font size box - enter the minimum size that works for you.

Important - ensure the box is unchecked about allowing the website to control the font type and size

From this point you'll need to keep going back to tweak the font and final sizes to meet your preferences.

ETA: think the default IE font type is Courier New - so you may want to select that as your font

Thanks, but as I said above, I tried that. I don't like having all websites and forums using the same fonts. The mouse wheel fixed me up just fine.
But Firefox hasn't solved the problem I hoped it might. Here on this forum I have to click links to pages a few times for it to go. I'll click to open a thread or post or anything and it just hangs until I click again and again for it to open. It still does that.
I almost threw this computer out the door, emptied a 30 rounder into it and then set it on fire with gas a few times lately. If I do...I'll post pics.

Thanks again.

I gave it a read and will give it a try. Too much turkey and pie and bourbon later to do all of that now.

It says 3 - 30 times faster, would be good.
