I am looking for fast breakfast ideas. I get up early and am not a morning person. So usually I leave just enough time to heat something up and go. Here is stuff I have tried in the past:
Fried egg sandwiches (made before, nuked in the microwave.) Sausage, egg, cheese burritos. (made before, nuked in the microwave.) Eggo waffles Left over Burger King What do you guys do that is tasty, fast, and really holds you over? |

My breakfast this morning:
Chugged some milk out of the jug. Eat half a bran muffin that my wife bought, didn't like, then left on the counter. Half a handgul of peanuts left in the tin. Let's eat those, too. Little bit more milk to wash it all down. Done. So I guess my advice is to start living with a pregnant woman who gets food cravings and then only eats part of it and leaves the rest around. You can just walk through the kitchen for a few minutes and graze on whatever's left and you'll have a different and exciting breakfast every time! |

Some of you may think this is nasty, but I:
make a pot of coffee, fill a bowl with 2-3 cups of instant oatmeal or cream of wheat, add 5-6 packs of splenda, mix in hot coffee Stir and eat, Pour a to go cup of coffee and drive to work It's somewhat low in calories, fast and CHEAP! EDIT TO FIX oz-cups |

Quoted: Oatmeal...keeps you full longer than just about anything, quick to prepare and tasty. Peanut butter is also good for satiety, especially if it's on a good fiber rich bread. PB and a banana is a great breakfast combo. Oatmeal FTW. Energy up, cholesterol down. |

For oatmeal (regular, not the instant) I've been replacing the water with apple juice (the premium stuff, not the chicom concentrate). Chop up an apple and sprinkle a little cinnamon on it and you're good till lunch. Macadamia nuts are also good for cholesterol. High in fat (HDL) so go easy, no more than an ounce a day. |
