Well, I don't know what I would do.

Yup, cause' they only have a box of ammo each through them...

I'm not really selling them, they are safe queens.  The only matched set of pistols I own, so I can't get rid of them...although I've not shot either in years.  Too expensive.

I've actually been considering parting with my Delta Gold Cup Elite.
It's an awesome pistol, I just dont shoot it any more...havent fired it in about 2 years.
Havent actually brought myself to selling it yet.....but....still thinking about it.

1911 goodness with the shock & awe that is 10mm

I hoped Springfield was going to make a XD10mm

I will be forced to buy a glock at some point if I want a 10mm I suppose

Me too.

I have a XD40 and XDm40.  If Springfield makes a 10mm in either flavor, I'd buy it in a HEARTBEAT for full MSRP.  Call me crazy, but that's what I want.

45 is for pussies, and 1911s are boat anchors that not only look like shit, but work like shit until you run an extra $1000 through them.

(5.7 works great right out of the box, and is infinitely more accurate than any 45)

10mm is my favorite round!  I've had or have: Glock 20, Glock 20SF, STI, Smith Wesson 610, Omega, Witness.  Others: Megastar, Bren Ten, Smith Wesson auto

You will need to reload.  I shoot light loads for everyday matches.  Heavy loads when I go out in the country.

Glock 20 is really the only choice one needs. And of course 10mm is a great round, it can be loaded nearly as light as a 9mm or heavy as a .45.

Yup.  I shoot pretty much exclusively 40 S&W now (I reload ammo) so it'd be easy for me to reload 10mm.

45 is for pussies in the light of 10mm.  If you'll take 45 over 10mm, there is no fucking reason not to drop down to 5.7.

You've pretty much posted a pic of ALL of the 10mm's in the market.

How do you like the G29 compared to the EAA witness?

I'm partial to all of them, the G29 is a little bit easier to carry for me. I like all of them equally, my favorite accuracy wise is the Gold Cup with handloads.

Delta Elite is out of my league $$$ wise.

Which would you get as a first 10mm pistol, EAA Witness, G29 or G20?

I personally am leaning towards a G29 SF with full rail, but not sure yet.

I have many 45's.  I still want a good 10mm.

The thing about 45 that has always bugged me is I can follow the bullet flight, and I swear that slug moves so slow the bad guy has time to duck.

I thought the big drawback to a 10mm was that the commercially manufactured ammunition for the caliber was loaded on the light side and therefore did not take full advantage of the ballistic capabilities.

If I am right, I don't know why 10mm ammo is loaded light.

.45 is not even in the hunt.

Not my issue. I reload, so it will be 100% hot all the way

Because the FBI is a bunch of limp wristed girlymen who can not handle the awsome power of the 10mm.

Damn, that's a hard question. If it was my first 10MM and I did not know if I'd like it, or be able to afford to shoot it allot....

Gosh....darn.....piss.... It would have to be the Witness everything considered. It was the least expensive new, came in around $350.00.

I don't think all 10MM is loaded light.

I have some older Hornady 180 XTPs that are pretty stout. And the Win. 175 gr. Silvertip is loaded to around 1275 fps. IIRC. Then there's Double Tap.

Double tap and Buffalo bore both offer some pretty stout loadings in 10mm.

I recommend the Glock 20SF........it is a big improvement over the old 20 version.  I did break the trigger bar spring a couple times but that was after years of shooting, just keep an extra one on hand.  Other than wearing out mags, I've yet to have a problem.

Hot loads in the 10mm compare to the 41 Mag, which is another fantastic round.

does 45 kill them anymore dead than 5.7?

Because there is no 10mm that will every beat the Glock 20 so they just quit trying.

Glock 20SF FTMFW! Or you could get a Delta that will beat itself to death.

Most 10mm is loaded down to .40 specs anyway unless you're shooting Double Tap or Buffalo Bore.
