Interesting, though private security would still have to follow TSA guidelines. I remember when the Bush administration was "considering" whether to go with government security or private security in the wake of 9/11. How anyone could have thought that the government would choose a private option is beyond me, and how anyone could think that the government would be more effective than the private sector is also beyond me.
