With another duck season soon upon us, does anyone want a quick weekend project for a little Hybrid layout boat?

If so, let me know and I'll scan the plans I have into PDF format and post a link to them later tonight.  These were free plans given out to any who wanted them, so there is no legal issues to worry about by distributing them.

Sure, I'd greatly appreciate it.  I wanted to build a layout boat this summer but never got around to it.

Spent $35 on my license and haven't even gone out this year.

Very cool looking boat.  How many hours did yours take to finish?

A little over 40.  But I went slow and made some modifications to the basic design.

I made mine deeper, added a little to the length to fit a storage compartment for my trolling motor battery, and added some lighting to the interior.

How much did your materials cost?

A few hundred dollars.  I used marine grade ply wood, so that bumped up the price.  I did mine three years ago, so I don't remember the exact cost.
