How will 45 gr. .223  frangible ammo shoot out of a 14.5" 1 in 9 twist barrel?

Is it safe to shoot steel at close range, thirty yards or greater?

All I know is, if it's strong enough to kill a person, it WILL go through walls, that's walls, plural, I do not mean just one.

so the question is, what's the point if it still goes through multiple walls? yeah that's right, frangible is mostly BS.

At Thunder Ranch (where they only allow frangible ammo), we did not shoot steel any closer than 50 yards.  Closer might be OK... maybe... how much risk are you willing to take?

Todd Jarret - who was at one time sponsored by Sinterfire, let us test fire some 40 frangible after a shoot a few years back.

Distance?  Point bland.  Seriously, a few inches at most (with eye protection of course).
