How cheap do beat up 12 gauge 870's get? I've seen them bottom around $260 or so, but no lower than that. |

I picked up a fairly old (circa 1970s) 28" Wingmaster about 3-4 years ago for $125. Snagged another old Wingmaster "Riot" grade with a 20" barrel for ~$165. Finish on both had seen better days, and there was a little corrosion, but nothing that affected function. Unfortunately, if I knew of any more for that price I would have already bought them.  Cheapest I've seen them recently was $200+. Probably depends on location as well...ETA: After sinking a couple hundred bucks into the $125 Wingmaster it became this...  To be honest I think I'd prefer peep sights, but am not looking to sink any more $$$ into shotguns right now...although that "Art of the Dynamic Shotgun" DVD Trailer has tempted me... |

+1 to what bullseye hit the gunshops/shows looking for old wingmasters with no vent rib and full chokes can't hardly give the bastards away where I work well under 200 should not be a problem then buy a appropriate barrel for it or chop off the current one you will end up with a better gun than the current ones |

I got mine for 189 at gt dist. earlier this year. They are easy to find. I ended up parkerizing it and putting the 12" hogue stock on it, along with a side saddle, an extended tube, and the hogue fore end. Originally it was blued with a wood stock. They are great guns.
