According to scientists at UC San Diego and Harvard University, "ideology is affected not just by social factors, but also by a dopamine receptor gene called DRD4." LOL! Possible evidence that Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder!  From Wiki: The dopamine receptor D4 is a G protein-coupled receptor encoded by the DRD4 gene... It is linked to many neurological and psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, Parkinsons disease, bipolar disorder, addictive behaviors including sex addiction, and eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating. It is also a target for drugs which treat schizophrenia and Parkinson disease... Mutations in this gene have been associated with various behavioral phenotypes, including autonomic nervous system dysfunction, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, and the personality trait of novelty seeking. |

Three comments:
1.) I wonder if the next flu vaccine will host a gene therapy to add the DRD4 receptor... 2.) It looks like all of those who have repeatedly posted and argued that we must engage and CONVERT liberals were utterly wrong. A genetic disorder isn't something that can be cured by talking about issues. 3.) We've always said that conservatives THINK and liberal FEEL. I guess it is more biological than sociological. Now we understand why liberals get despondent and fall back on emotional positions when challenged with irrefutable facts. They know you are right, but cannot come to terms with it emotionally. Might have more to do with the fact that those without the gene tend to avoid places where 'zombies' abide. Mostly.
