for Cheaper Than Dirt?
I'm a newb, and really thankful for the hours of entertainment this site provides but an occasional primer or FAQ would help. I went weeks without really knowing the background of "FO"? Since I am a newb, please feel free to tell me to go DIAF. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen. |

High prices, nothing ever really in stock and lousy customer service. Well, I for one love CTD. They have the best prices, the widest range of inventory and courteous customer service. <Edited by CTD> sat·ireDefinition of SATIRE1 : a literary work holding up human vices and follies to ridicule or scorn 2 : trenchant wit, irony, or sarcasm used to expose and discredit vice or folly ETA: I'm not satirical about ARFcom. |

If they are the cheapest on something I need to buy locally ive got no qualms.
Dropped $500 there last weekend at the retail store People here will find anything to bitch and moan about. Whats even funnier is 90% of the whiners have no idea that the website/catalog is a seperate entity than the retail store. Bitch about communism then sqeal about capitalism...only on Arfcom

Ok. Thye are usually cheaper than AIM for ammo with the added bonus that I get the stuff the day after I order it. AIM, who I also like and do business with, usually takes 2-3 days to ship and 2-3 more to get here.
I wasn't yet "awakened" when the price gouging occurred in '08. Thanks for the replies. |

Oops. Yeah, that's a no-no. Fake CTD edits are verboten. Although I can understand why. It gives newbs not in on the gag the impression that CTD owns/runs the site and that Admin/Staff are not in control of what's going on. (Which yes, in it's own way was even more funny.) Ed Sr. banned it when it had run it's course as a gag anyway, IMO. |

capitalism makes some people's vaginas sore Part of marketplace freedom is also allowing consumers to get the word out when a business has deceptive sales practices. Just because they "can" do certain things, doesn't mean it's right, and certainly shouldn't prevent consumers from warning others. |
