Quoted: The Reformer has almost about as much credibilty as the Weekly World News.... So, Vermonters would use it (maybe) in the bottom of the bird cage.... Reform would seem to be a dirty word thereabouts. Probably someone from Mass started it up.

Quoted: Quoted: So if you moved into VT from another state and had cans, could you not take them with you? $25 fine. and i think it's a felony. but i could be wrong. yup it's an anti-poaching law - not a "you can't have suppressor law" (well, means you can't have em but...you know what i mean) I miss Vermont.....

As was mentioned above, it's a misguided anti-poaching law. It wasn't a law created out of fear of firearms. I live only 15 minutes from Vermont, so I know a thing or two about the state. |

I lived in Vt for 20yrs. Powderhorn in Williston is the best gun shop. Bought my two Delta 10mm there. And Yes I was an ex Masshole. Left there in 76 for the Military and never went back.
You can't pick where your born but you can sure get the hell out when your old enough. |

My wife and I visited some friends in Essex Junction this summer, I gotta say it's a beautiful state and all the people we came in contact with were very friendly and down to Earth. I can definitely understand the liberal influences from New England and Canada, heck Massachusetts and New York are right next door
Still, even with the liberal influence I could see myself moving there someday. My wife has been begging to go back ever since we got home. |

Real Vermonters just want to be left the hell alone to do unspeakable things to the livestock. Fixed ![]() haha. id like to move up there one day. or new hampshire. i love guns and snow. Montpelier.....only place I've ever been where I could watch Al Jazeera television.............. And the local coffee shop (Capital Grounds) has framed newspapers on the walls of articles about Anti-American rallies in Iran and a very large framed portrait of the Ayatollah's Shrine. I'd stick with NH. No income tax, no sales tax, no seat belt laws, no helmet laws. Live Free or Die. |
