| I am a recent high school graduate. I am attending a University. I figured I would update the ole' resume as my old one was not that applicable any more. Since I am in college should I go ahead and delete all the high school stuff, and keep my education, colllege clubs/activites, work experience, etc? |

According to my career advisors at McCombs,
It's ok to keep some of the more important, more prestigious awards from high school until the start of your sophomore year. Examples of prestigious high school level rewards being: National Merit Scholar, AP Scholar, etc. Those kind of things. Leadership positions in well known organizations are ok as well, such as NHS, JROTC, etc. You should also tailor your resume for whatever position/goal you are seeking. |
