I have the opportunity to purchase a 15KW Generac Watchdog Generator for $2k. I would use it for home electrical backup. Does anyone have experience with these systems? These series of generators are not listed on Generac's website, I did some research and came up with that these generators were built for Carrier and they did not sell well. They were "repackaged" as Generac Watchdog generators. Reviews on Generac are mixed, some hate them, some love them... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |
