Do you remember?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyPtqvaKAfU There were a total of 2,977 murders, and the 19 hijackers died. The victims were distributed as follows: 246 on the four planes (from which there were no survivors), 2,606 in New York City in the towers and on the ground, and 125 at the Pentagon. All the deaths in the attacks were civilians except for 55 military personnel killed at the Pentagon. |

Quoted: Every time I see an airliner in the sky. Every damn time. ![]() ![]() No kidding. Whenever I'm anywhere within 20 miles of Dulles Airport and see and hear the jets taking off and landing, the sound of them flying overhead relatively low gives me chills as it instantly reminds me of the first plane hitting the WTC in that video taken by the firefighters unexpectedly. |

Unfortunately, most of us here do remember and most not here do not. Worse yet is most "forgot" around year 2. The drive-by-media doesn't help. The video should be required to be played each year –– all of it, building jumpers, etc. That fact sheeple forget is more disturbing to me than Nobama and most everything else bad in the world these days. Of course, the same mentality that allows someone to forget this allows them to let our beloved country head in the direction it is. God Bless The United States of America. We need it. |

I was on a 737 getting ready to takeoff on a test flight when a sherrifs car came sliding down the taxiway in front of our aircraft. The crew shut the aircraft down. I opened the forward entry door and the deputy yelled to us that all US flights have been suspended and the airport was closed. I remember running up to one of the maintenance reps office (because I knew they had a tv with cable) just in time to see the second plane strike the WTC. My heart dropped. I said that life as we knew it had just changed. Everyday when I am at work and I see planes takeoff and land I think of 9/11. |

Quoted:
I am still pissed about 9-11. I will tell all of you the truth. I am a hard man but I can not watch anything about 9-11 on TV, it makes my blood boil and brings a tear to my eye. Agreed, and then remember the life I lived/had till I was able to go over and help sling some pay back. |

Invokes a feeling in me nothing else has before. Huge amount of it is anxiety though. I change the channel whenever videos of it come on - it's not like I'm going to forget - but others will so I understand. |
