I tried several database based software packages (all free). I never found one I liked. I ended up just making a spreadsheet in excel. I can sort it anyway I want, add what ever columns I need. I like it.

I thought about excel. I dont have microsft office. I guess I'll download open office and give excel a chance.

I created one in Access.  Nice clean interface, self-populating drop down lists, and whatever fields I want.

One of these days I will add a picture field.
