Will Alton Brown's method of making beef jerky which uses HVAC filters and a fan work for drying fruit such as peaches? Has anyone tried that before?

Could this be used on the fruits in San Fransisco?

I don't see why it wouldn't work.

But I am also interested if anyone has tried it.

The box fan menthod can be use. I just found this video.

Peaches are 65 cents a pound right now so I'm going to give this a try.
