Yes,I know another AR question in GD. $250 or so budget.Its going on a bcm m4 upper. Would a Primary Arms M3 red dot+ 3x magnifier combo work fine? any suggestions The gun is just a range toy.

the AR forum doesnt get much traffic this time of night and I need to order something soon.

You might be able to get an Eotech 511/512 on E&E if you look around. Looks like someone just sold one for $290.

Just like another poster said, with that budget, I'd aim towards a used Eotech for sure.

especially considering its going to just be a range gun, I was surprised with how well mine shot, but I had half the budget.

I looked in the EE but dont see anymore used eotechs in my price range. Im going to the range next weekend if my upper comes in so I need to get an optic ordered,

I've scored a few Trijicon reflex's off of craigslist recently for $200 AND $250. Worth a look.

If you can't find a quality used optic on EE and want to go new, this is worth a look.

Unfortunately the free 2x magnifier promotion is over- that really makes it versatile. I can use it at 50-100 yards on one range and screw the 2x magnifier on the end and shoot plates at 380 yards on another.

Sparc or Strikefire are good to go in my opinion. Plus you can use a Larue mount on the Sparc. It's a T-1 clone and not a bad one from what I've heard.

The sparc will be going on my MSAR when I get one.
