I've just started a very compressed MBA program.  One of our classes for the first "semester" is on law and the legal environment of business.  Is there a general "law for dummies" site I can use to get myself up to speed on general legal terms, concepts, ideas, etc.?  I'm not looking so much for detailed case law as a general description of things like motions, appeals, summary judgment, and general legal concepts so when I go to read case summaries, I at least have some clue as to what it is I'm reading.  I'm asking in advance because we have a lot of reading to do (primarily case summaries) before classes start this weekend and I don't want to be lost when I show up on the first day.

Thanks

Go to the used book store on campus, and look for a hornbook (that is really what it's called) on legal process.

Just pretend you know all about the law, like most people here.

I wouldn't use a hornbook -  they can delve pretty deep into their particular subject matter and you'll waste a lot of time on intracies you probably don't need to worry about.  If you feel that the case summaries won't be enough, get a copy of Black's Law Dictionary and for basic terms and phrases always remember, Google is your friend.
