I have an old HP desktop that has an Ultra DMA drive.  The mobo is dead and there is no use rebuilding this thing but I do need to get stuff off the drive.  Is UDMA compatible with SATA enclosures like this?

I should just be able to drop the old drive into the enclosure, hook it up to my laptop and be good to go right?

Didn't see that it would take your drive.

It's been awhile but I believe an EIDE enclosure will work...

This works with both so you can use it in the future.
