So, my Fiance said to me today, "Hey I saw all these things called 'Dinner pics' on Arfcom. want to do one?"

Here we go-

Since we're in a small apartment, steaks were broiled:

And here's the end result!

Sides are a nice Risotto and some sauteed tomatoes. Oh, and obligatory pic of Fiance:

You let her out of the kitchen to surf the internet? That is a .5 point deduction..

The risotto was our own recipe. Has a lot of garlic and parmesan. It went really well with the steak and beer.

Nice but at least invest in a Smokey Joe Weber charcoal grill to prepare that cow on. You can take a Smokey Joe anywhere including the parking lot of your apartment.
BTW hows the Abita Wheat?

I don't recall judging your dinner pic, but if I did than I add another .75 points to your score for not being bitter...

Steaks look pretty nice for being cooked with a broiler.  How done did they get?

He lives in an apt and probably doesn't have a grill, and he used the broiler.  That's basically an upside down grill with no fire.

Easily got them to a nice medium-rare, good seared outside. Using a nice cast iron pan helped.

Awesome, easily one of my new favorite beers.

The Alton Brown method of searing a steak is perfectly acceptable in the rules of man law.

Thats a solid 10/10, good meat, a 1911 & a nice pic of the better half cooking while armed.  Can't get any better than that.  Well done sir.

9/10, -1 for not cooking meat with fire.

I was going to deduct for a dirty napkin and no ammo in the Pmags but that would still give you 10/10.  The armed chef was a nice touch.

Well plated but I am forced to deduct 0.25 points for improper place settings.  Every well bred petty criminal knows that smaller and more concealable weapons go to the right.

PMAGs are in fact loaded, I just only have one windowed one.

Fiance shoots lefty, so etiquette dictates that for her, the guns go on the left. I was going to think up a good Firefly quote response, but I got nuthin.

1911 with no front serrations.
ak and ar variants on the table.
a sling and a folding stock.
but most notably...  she reads the arf... she's in on it AND there are two settings in the pic and not just one.
this is a perfect dinner pic.
