I'm stumped. I don't think they are turkey. The toes are thick! Maybe 2-3 inches from front to back. This was in a wooded area about a mile inland in Lower Alabama

Thanks for the input but I don't think it's cormorant or anything else listed so far. There was no webbing between the toes and the tracks were deep enough that the webbing would have shown.

It's hard to tell from the photos whether that's three toes or four (the right track is obscured by the leaves). If it's four, it looks a little like armadillo tracks.  Though, I don't know whether y'all have armadillos out in Alabam.

We sure do, I think you're spot on. Can't believe I didn't think of that. For some reason I see raccoon all the time never see armadillo tracks even though we have tons.

No, it's definitely Velociraptor tracks disguised as armadillo tracks. They're clever girls you know.
