I was at the grocery store yesterday, cruising by the beer section, when I saw a beautiful sight. It was a big stack of 12 packs of Octoberfest, my very favorite Sam Adams variety. I wasn't expecting to see any until next month, at least. I'm gonna stockpile as much as I can afford and try to make it last thru the winter( or what passes for winter in FL). I'm hoping to avoid last years catastrophe, where I went back to get more at SAMS and found it all gone.

In before a bunch of twinks saying how much Sam Adams sucks or how their favorite mop water is so much better.

It doesn't suck, but it's not the best either.  Not even the best available in most grocery stores.  But hey, since everything other than Sam Adams must be "mop water", I won't bother you with further enlightenment.

I've heard Great Lake's Octoberfest is awesome, but that shit is hard to find. Couldn't find it anywhere last year during fall.

I like the octoberfest. If you are ever in ohio though you will have to try some of the greatlakes beers. I dont know if they sell any where other than OH,PA,WV, but that is a good dark beer.

Whatever you do, do not try Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic.
