[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sound supressor for a range

Someone I know is wanting to build a small range behind their home and is need of something to supress the sound. Any ideas?
Somewhere I saw a cement pipe lined with foam or something that you shot through
Supressors that attach to guns isnt an option as there are way too many guns....it would be nice but not an option.

First post nails it again.

A tunnel of tires...as long as possible ( lining a cement or steel culvert is not a bad idea) and an enclosed structure to shoot from. Lined with sound absorbing tiles.
