The radiator in my car has had a leak for awhile and my heater core cracked a tank a few weeks ago so I decided to replace them both. Tonight, I swapped out my radiator in about an hour, complete with a flush of the system. I've never had work go smoothly and without problems. Even more worrisome, I didn't bust a single knuckle or slice a finger open.
This can only mean that the heater core is going to have me inventing words to vent my frustration. Right now I've got the heater core bypassed so I may wait a few weeks so that the evil spirits leave the car before I start that project. |
| Sometime if you get the chance visit an automotive plant. If you follow the assembly line back all the way to the very beginning, you see it all starts with them placing a heater core on the conveyor and then the entire rest of the car gets built around it. That should give you an idea of the difficulty you're about to undertake. |
