Recently traded this http://vrcc.photostash.com/vrcc_3785/1800.jpg for an '08 Concours 14/ABS. No pix yet - have a few accessories to add. Looks stock at the moment. I am wanting to ditch my cruiser for a sport touring... I want an ST1300 something wicked. Won't be able to do anything for a couple years, tho. |

I am wanting to ditch my cruiser for a sport touring... I want an ST1300 something wicked. Won't be able to do anything for a couple years, tho. The VTX was the odd bike out. Me and the wife own several Valkyries - two set up for strictly long-distance, summer touring - and I wanted to get something which could be ridden if inclement weather threatens. She'll probably end up with an '09 Connie in a year or so then we'll pick a '10 or later model up as well. Set the '10+ up for dedicated touring duties (electronics, lights, etc), her '09 up with some of the same and leave the '08 essentially stock, save some suspension, luggage and ergonomic tweaks. All of the electronics I'm planning to buy can be easily transferred from bike to bike, so the '08 will wear the stuff until I get a later model C-14 in the garage. |

Pics of Vincent's that aren't yours don't count. |

My 1978 CB750F Super Sport that received a turbocharged. I fabbed and tack welded the parts (sans the intercooler (Bell Intercoolers)), props for final TIG welding go to my friend Mark (awesome job). Stock motor with 15k on the clock before the turbo this fall/spring, now I have about 17k and having a blast. Blow through setup using the stock slide carbs running 9psi. Turbo is about the size of a GT2056, little laggy (5k spool up) but easy to find boost when you want it. http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=59262.0 for the project details. http://www.pcbwerks.com/pics2/63.jpg http://www.pcbwerks.com/pics2/62.jpg http://www.pcbwerks.com/pics2/61.jpg THATS AWESOME! Almost makes me wish I'd kept my CB750. |
