Yes .Damn Japanese beetles. Can strip a tree in days. Just planted some a couple of weeks ago and, they did some serious damage. Spayed em with some seven and they all dropped.
Hope the trees make it.

I've been meaning to buy some Redman plug or a cheap cigar to soak in a spray bottle of water.
I hear the beetles don't like nicotine as much as we do.

I'll have to try that, too.  Maybe a can of Cope and a can's worth of spit, mixed with water in a sprayer?  

Anything to get those damned beetles off my rosebushes.
