i have never had a nosebleed before unless i got punched in the nose. however this week i have had 6 in 3 days.the only common factor here is it happens when i have 1 been drinking (twice) or 2 i have been bent over(4 times) . its not dry air its not allergies. its not from nose picking. anybody got any ideas ? it just started happening and im like wtf ? i tried to google it and im stumped.

I used to get nosebleeds all the time, and just pretty much random when I was younger. I had my nose cauterized 3 times when I was younger and it didn't really do anything except hurt like a son of a bitch everytime. I still to this day don't know the cause, but I rarely get them anymore. It still happens probably once or twice a year an usually it happens in my sleep and I will be awakened by it or wake up to find a few drops of blood on my pillow. Sorry I couldn't help but I have been there man and there really isn't much you can do about it, you can get it cauterized but like I said I had it done quite a few times and it never really did anything for me. |

If you have a good flashlight, check out your nares (nose openings) when you are not bleeding.
If you see something like this immediately contact an ENT specialist. HTH

This was happening to me.
It was very irritating to be playing golf or having dinner and your nose start pouring blood. I complained to my doctor and he was no help. Finally I got a friend of mine who is a GI doc to get me an appointment with an ear nose and throat guy. He listened to my story and took a quick look inside my nose and told me I needed some pussy cream.
Really it is some kind of cream that is used to thickened the walls of a vagina. He gave me a sample, so "I would be spared the embarrassment of filling the script". I have not had a nose bleed since I used that cream. I put it in daily for about 10 days, several years ago. It works and is painless. |

So you are going to see a doctor if you want it. It would probably cost you less than $50 to go to the doctor and ask for a cash discount. too much iron in your blood or an underlying disorder? Get it checked out.
Snort cold water next time it starts (the tissue inside the nose dries and cracks and starts bleeding), I do this so it doesn't run my throat and make me gag. Everybody has always told me to lean forward and pinch or else stuff TP in the nose until it clots. Works almost instantly, distilled water would be better but regular tap water works in a pinch the chlorine burns for a few seconds though-no worse than getting water up your nose while swimming. |

Alternative Treatment
Estrogen cream, the same preparation used to revitalize vaginal tissue, can toughen fragile blood vessels in the anterior septum and forestall the need for cauterization. Botanical medicines known as stiptics, which slow down and can stop bleeding, may be taken internally or applied topically. Some of the plants used are achillea (yarrow), trillium, geranium, and shepherd's purse (Capsella bursa). Homeopathic remedies can be one of the quickest and most effective treatments for nosebleeds. One well known remedy is phosphorus. Another natural treatment includes swabbing the nose with vitamin E oil for three days. If nosebleeds recur within that time, it is recommended to take 500 mg of bioflavonoids twice a day. Bioflavonoids are antioxidants found in citrus fruits that help strengthen blood vessels. |

I sometimes get nosebleeds. Never had them as a child. Been getting them for the past 7-8 years on and off. I've figured I need to have the inside of my nose cauterized. Usually it'll start from me rubbing my nose with the back of my wrist as if it itches. I can think of only one time where it just decided to bleed out of the blue. Then there was the time when I was going down on a chick and I bled all over HER after I guess having my nose shoved up against it agitated the artery/vein. Talk about fucking embarrassing and a cock block.Edited to add: It'll sometimes start to bleed or show signs of blood if I blow my nose really hard, fast, and rapidly. That's probably the primary thing that agitates mine. It's only the right nostril too. |

You're probably having the same nose bleed over and over, for whatever reason you've get a weak spot and it isn't healing, it may well be dry air, or going back and forth from humid outdoors to AC.
Ever broken your nose? Mine would bleed gushers randomly for years after I broke it, finally stopped about a decade after the break though. |

It did stop eventually though. Tip your head forward and hold your nose, that tipping your head back stuff is idiotic, fills your sinuses with dried blood. |
