I posted a thread a few months back about new headlights. I went with Toshiba HIRs because I only had halogens before and cannot accept HIDs.

My old halogen finally blew and I had a set of Toshiba HIRs ready to replace it. So far I have just replaced the lights on the driver side the blew.

Here is what it looks like now (with high beams on).

Should I adjust that one side? I don't think it is going to be a problem. It is an 05 Toyota Matrix XR. So the car is fairly low to the ground so I cannot see it being a problem. I guess I will just drive it around and see if anyone gives me a flash.

That's nothing compared to the SUVs out there. You're fine.

Is the bright spot higher, at the same height, or lower than the center of the headlight?
You may have a "bat-light" there, and if so, it won't help you or anyone else see the road.
Take her out to a straight, level, dark road, and see if you get more light on the road or on the trees with the beemz on.

They do work better when aimed right...

I'd be more concerned with what the Low beam pattern looks like - If it's still quite a bit higher on the driver's size, some adjustment is probably in order.

I have not changed the passenger side. I have those lights on on order now. I only changed one because I wanted to see how I liked the lights before buying two of each. (Highs and lows are separate). Because I had a light go out today it pushed me to change them today.

ETA: I will be driving a distance on the road tomorrow. I start my new job and its 330p-12a. So I will see how the lights work, if not I will have to adjust them down a little

Before you start messing with the adjustment be sure tires are inflated properly and you are sitting on level ground.

Best bet take the car to a shop and have the lights adjusted by a pro.  Oncoming drivers will thank you for it.

first of all the adjustment isn;t hard to do, the problem is getting to the adjustment screw on the driver side. The advantage I have is the passenger side is stock so I will tape my garage door so I can make the lights level. There isnt a left to right adjustment on my car
