Me, a friend, and two girls were gonna go swimming. The girl asks if she can smoke in my car right when we picked her up. I told her no. The swimming place is about 45 minutes away. Roughly 20 minutes into the trip, the one girl starts to smoke a cigarette real stealthily and the other girl tries to cover it...like I wasn't going to notice the commotion or smell the smoke. I turned the car around and took them home, despite wanting to just leave them right there in the middle of nowhere, so I even showed a little kindness in that respect.
I fucking hate cigarettes and the mentality of people who claim that they can't go more than twenty minutes without one. Every five minutes "Ughhh man I need a cigarette..." SHUT THE FUCK UP! They've been sending me angry texts for the past hour and are probably super frustrated that I'm just ignoring them. |

Excuse my ignorance, but I've seen that picture twice today. WTF is it supposed to mean? As for the thread subject, I smoke. They should have respected your wishes regarding your vehicle, and waited to light up until they were out of your car. |

So you went through all that BS and trouble with the smoking girls just so you and another guy could go swimming....alone....45minutes away from anyone else..... Drop the false facade already. Just invite your guy friend straight out and tell him that you want to mow his lawn. |

| You did good OP. I don't care if folks smoke or not, it's their lungs, but for Christs sake, if your in my vehicle, house, tent, where ever, and it belongs to me, and I say "no you can't smoke here" by god I mean it. Have some fucking respect for someones property. Chances are if they were not going to listen to you, they weren't worth spending time with. |

Quoted: Good drop off. I'm a smoker and if someone said no, well I can wait a lil' while longer. As someone up above said "your car your rules". +1 I'm a smoker too and rules is rules. I don't blame anybody for not wanting smoke in their car. I fly a lot so I'm used to not smoking for even all day if necessary. |

All I ask is that they wind down the window and not leave their butts in the car. I don't smoke, by the way. "Turning the car around" made for some great immature grandstanding, though. Your lungs, your car. Do what you want. I'd rather have the air conditioning on than have the windows down just so they can smoke. Having the window down doesn't eliminate all of the stench. I let someone try that in my car a long time ago and it took for fucking ever to get the smell out. I'm not gonna subject myself to that nauseating stench just to please some girl. That's called putting the pussy on the pedestal. |

shit and to think I ask if its ok to smoke in my own car when I have passengers. how fucking old where these defiant little shits? 16? Seriously. That's teenager behavior. I would have dropped them off right there. They should count themselves lucky you drove them home. Sounds like you just avoided a lot of future drama. |

Your car your rules. I used to be a smoker and if I knew someone wasnt I wouldnt even dare smoke in there care or even ask. Just because if its not my car its not my place to smoke. I can wait.
I also dont go changing peoples radios in their car either. Unless its something I really really really cant stand. |
