Anyone tried them before? Will it actually give you the satisfaction of a cigarette without all the bad side effects? If I like it, I might switch. I should quit smoking now while I'm young.

I am functionally retarded posting pics and hotlinks, can anyone help? |

They make me cough Real cigs, or e-cigs? e cigs How long did you try em? When I started smoking cigarettes I would cough, but then got used to it. If these are something legit and more than a gimmick, it's worth a shot to me. I've lost numerous family members to lung cancer. |

I'lll try it tomorrow when I haven't been drinking, then I can make a better decision on em. I appreciate all your input Mr. Clean Wife's been using one since last Christmas. There are two types of "juice", one with polyethylene glycol and one with vegetable glycerine. Make sure that you try both types before you decide that they don't work. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I've been smoking an Ecig for over a year now. I have a V2 Prodigy from Puresmoker. If you plan on using it long term, get a mod of some sort and kick those shitty little batteries to the curb. With the two CR123 rechargeables in mine I do a 24 hour period easy, put fresh ones in just before I leave the house in the AM and the old ones in the charger. I go through an atomizer about every month on average ( 10$ if you buy them one at a time, less if you buy bulk ) and about 20$ worth of juice a month. The hardest part getting started was the taste, I wanted a Marlboro light and dammit if none of the juices were close, after I tried a few different flavors in the sample pack I ordered back when I had a 401 ( mini ) the red bull and strawberry were my favorites. my normal juice now is either a 50/50 of that or peach instead of the strawberry. After four days I tried a ML and just about puked it tasted so bad. If you get past the first full day you got it licked.
Things i really like about it, I get my fix and it doesn't bother anybody, no smell to speak of and I can do it pretty much anywhere and nobody seems to care, occasionally somebody will ask me what the hell is it and I nicely explain what's going on and then they no longer care. I've smoked it damn near everywhere, including long flights ( you have to be a bit discrete, some airlines don't allow it, I just take my drag and blow it under my shirt by pulling out the neck a bit ). Some of my ( used to be smokers ) friends have used them to quit after a couple of months, you may too. I kinda like it and it's pretty much my only vice so screw you if you don't like it. |
i have a njoy npro and use johnson creek e-liquid. i quit smoking cigs after i starting using it. just make sure you have enough supplies so you don't run out, i.e. atomizers and liquid (or cartridges if you use them) ETA: here's a 22 pg. thread on e-cigs http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=839786 |

Or, in ARFCOM's WYSIWYG editor, click the button immediately to the left of the Media and Flash buttons. Then put in the bare URL (what is in red just above).

slims_88, I started with an e-cig about 5 weeks ago. I have went from 1.5 packs a day to 4 anolog cigs a day. I feel better, breath better, and am saving lots of cash.
I started off with a cheapo just to see what I thought. When it looked like it would make a difference, I up graded to a Joye 510. Lots better vapor. I ordered some nicotine juice so I can refill my own. 30ml bottle cost $18 and las me about 3 weeks. I just went a step further and order a Joye 510 Titan. It holds more juice so it goes longer between fill ups. I've done a lot of research on the E-Cigs. If you need any help or web sites, IM me. I knew if somebody could come up with something that simulated smoking, it would work for me. Patches, gum didn't work for me. I have smoked 35 years. At one time I smoked 3 packs a day working in the projects. Dave |
