| Why the fuck is it that every fuckin thread I open turns into a pissing match about if you served or not, and people who didnt serve are cowards, yada yada yada. Everyone on arfcom needs to take a fuckin chill pill and stop bashin each other. If you served, then thank you. You have done amazin things for our country, however, does that make you one bit better than someone who has not? absolutely not. One douche bag mentioned in a thread that he looks on civies with contempt, and in another thread people are bashin Ted Nugent bc of the whole Vietnam fiasco, even though its been proven that there is alot of bs to that story. Ted has done more for the 2nd amendment, then majority of arfcom combined, so if you have a problem with him not serving, remember that there is more to life than the military and there are plenty of other ways to make our country a better place to live. Like I stated earlier, if you served, then Thank you. But enough with the whole 'I served, so I can run my mouth, but you didnt, so you cant have a view on this' |

To take this thread on a slight tangent, I do agree, people need to calm down. I mean a thread on the French foreign legion using M1 Carbines was locked due to CoC violations. How the fuck does that happen? It obviously did, but it shouldn't have.
This is the internet and people seem to take it wayyy too seriously. I'm not saying it's all fun and games or that you can't have a serious discussion, but people seem to take things more personally or get more insulted over the web vs in person. |
