Are they the avian equivalent to town criers? Yes, I know, full-moon and all, there is one at my gf's place in norcal that runs 24/7 with an occasional break. This guy runs the gamut of chirps and other noises from car alarms to Stellar jays.
My gf has a few caged zebra finches and they seem to become enthralled by whatever the mockingbird is preaching when he is perched in the neighbor's tree spouting his diatribe of beeps and whistles. Is there an avian insurrection coming? What size shot? |
