| Just got back from Cebu City, Visited my fiance to meet U.S. visa requirements. Had a great time down there. I am still in shock over the sheer number of superhot babes down there looking for American men. It is a very poor country with the minimum wage at $5 per day. Saw no crime as alot of businesses have armed security. Had a great time and highly recommend going there. Yeah I still have all my vital organs and no there will be no pics(beatoff material). |

I just got back from the Philippines myself about a month and a half ago. We were visiting my wife's family. Second time for me to be over there and it will unequivocally be my LAST. The people are pretty good and all, but it is a third world shithole all the way around. In Manila it is overcrowded, polluted and hotter than hell and everyone that has anything to do with dealing with foreigners is out to defraud you at every opportunity. My wife is from the northern part of Luzon island and for the most part it is poverty and squalor all around up there.
However, I have heard that Cebu is much nicer so I am glad you had a good experience. After you are married a few years and go back for a visit you may see things in the Philippines a bit clearer. I know I did. |

I know I did. Funny. I'm the exact opposite. I love going down there for that reason. Everything I know and am used to is flipped on its head. I've been there 6-7 times now and loved it every time. My family down there is nice, and I'm learning how to argue over prices. I plan on learning Tagalog and Kampampangan and building a house down there one day. When I go I don't stay in a hotel either (most of the time). I stay at my wife's family home with everyone and shoot the shit all day. They may be poor but it ain't that bad once you get used to the heat and mosquitos. I've learned some Filipino cooking too! |

So...how much did you spend during your vacation? |
| Yeah did some shoppiing at Ayala and SM Mall. My ticket cost around $1600 RT, and Marco Polo Plaza (very nice) was around $85 per night. Total around 2600 U.S. (shopping included). They threw in a daily breakfast buffet that was very good , with alot of selection. Went to some pro fights at Waterfront Casino last Sunday night. They were broadcast on one of the Philippine tv sports stations. What was cool was the female commentator kept mentioning the sponsors, one of which was " Colt 45 Malt Liquor." I kept expecting Billy Dee Williams to make a surprise appearance. I enjoyed it down there and want to go back some day. |

My sister is in Romblon for the Peace Corps. She says it is beautiful there but the Peace Corps is a joke and sucks. I heard that Mindanao is a no go for whiteys and GIs do to the rebels.
I never been but am thinking of visiting my sis. Philipino chicks have the biggest breasts on average of asian chickas IMO. I like that a lot |
