Quoted: Quoted: Once ARFCOM gloms on to something it gets run into the ground ad nauseum. gloms? Hmmm.... HEY GUYS, I GOT A NEW ARFCOM MEME!!! GLOMS Pfft, I was using that back in grad school, as in "Dave got in big trouble when he glommed the DNA lab's Tris buffer". |

many times it is used after a response to a question that just requires a bit of common sense to answer
generally those answers are very short and concise and take place before the inevitable arguing and hurt feelings occurs doesn't bother me in the overall scheme of things |

Once ARFCOM gloms on to something it gets run into the ground ad nauseum. I'm interested in this point. Running something into the ground means using it up, killing it, or making it unusable. Ad nauseaum means to be repeated to the point of nausea. How does one repeatedly use something made unusable by its previous use? If you can glom on to that?
