Just heard on KFYI that the same pol that started 1070 is now trying to put together a bill
that would deny an AZ birth certificate to babies born in AZ unless one parent is a US Citizen.

IIRC anchor baby status was passed in 1865' ish for newly freed slave babies.

No more slaves now therefore, no more need for anchor baby laws.

The legislature dismissed back in April so how would this piece of information come around?? Sounds like a rumor to me to stir up more shit.

Anchor babies is a liberal myth. Bout time the light of truth was allowed to shine on it. The law never said that crime should pay. The issue with the slaves is very different. They were legally born in the US. Those not legal here can not have a baby legally born here.

Now I am not sure exactly how the law applies to visa holders - that might be legal anchor situation, but I doubt it seriously. They are probably the most likely to be deported.
