I need to find a gps that will figure square feet. Anybody know of which unit will do this and map it out? It should be transferrable to a laptop, if possible.

garmin oregon will figure square feet I believe. You walk the property (or whatever) and it calculates it for you. I have one, but have never used the function. The way I remember reading it was you just hit start and then when you hit your start point again it stops and calculates. |

Thanks Even the basic Garmin Etrex Legend can do this. It will calculate Acreage, just convert those numbers to square feet and you are GTG. |
