Not too long, it was a small roast so maybe 3 hours.  The smell was AMAZING while cooking it.  By the time it was served we were ravenous.  And about the horseradish.  I do like it, but nobody else likes it so we usually don't take the time to make it.  I haven't found any in the jar/bottle that I like. I like home made horseradish.  If anyone has a suggestion for some good premade stuff I am all eyes and ears.
