As I sit here, a relative and friend is losing his hard battle. He's not long, now. These gifts he leaves to us (my wife and I) are treasured, and will remain with us forever. The simple tools of a simple police officer, who set out decades ago to follow the same philosophy he followed in the Army: to make the world a better place. I'm not any good with words, typed or spoken, and now is certainly no exception. I'll just leave this as a simple memorial to a simple man I will always look up to. Both of these were presented to him for his decades of service to the citizens.
