A blow torch.

Seriously, you need some sort of paraffin solvent.  This is extremely flammable and you may want to seriously consider calling a professional.

well, Richard, you should not have had any natural gas flowing through the same lines as your refrigerant would be in your A-Coil

I don't understand the issue apparently

Baby oil.  It will take time and you will have to reapply it several times.

Steam should also work.  Get one of those home steam cleaner/sanitizers.

You have the right idea.  Whatever you do, have an ABC fire extinguisher handy and make sure you have ventilation.

yes, Simple Green does need rinsed with clean water.

also on the A Coil, most AC service companies sell a spray can of foaming cleaner.

No good for melting paraffin, but, does great to remove and loosen pet hair and trapped dust so your A Coil can let more air through the coils for cooling

that stuff works great, I have used it

Most fins are aluminum.  Simple Green has been noted to cause corrosion of aluminum.
