Hey All. I have a big interview coming up next week with a regional director of the company I hope to be soon employed with.

I have already successfully passed through two interviews with my would be direct supervisors. Apparently, this regional is a bit of a hard ass. Job is through referral so I do have inside info.

He verified this through a 20 minute long telephone interview where he did 90% of the talking and only asked 3 or 4 questions.

Now I am going to meet with him one on one.

The position is for an Admissions Representative for a medical college. My job will be to sign up prospective students. SALES.

I do have sales experience.

Please Arfcom help me tell this dude what he wants to hear. TIA

He wants to hear that you are competent, flexible, and willing to work hard.

ETA: And you are willing to kiss his ass and want to be like him.

If the blow job is work related you're not really gay.

Kick your feet up on the table, lean back, tug your chin and ask "so what can you do for me?"

In that case, pay attention to what he says.

Read a little background on what whatever company it is. A little pre-game intelligences goes a long ways.

Since the job is SALES, the most important thing you can do is ask for the sale, in this case that would be the JOB.

If you cannot ask for this sale, he cannot be confident that you will ask for those that make him money.

ALWAYS ask for the job.

He is going to want to know if you:

are a hard worker
do you seem like a good guy
can you be dependable

Right, if it puts food on the table and a roof over the heads of your children, it doesn't make you gay.
Good luck man, SALES for a medical college right now HAS got to be tough.

Wait, it's not in this country is it?  If it were in India, you'd have a good shot at being successful.

Not the type that trains Doctors. The type that trains LPN's, NA's, Surgical Assistant...

Mirror his attitude. Be relaxed, smile, nod and listen.

Be specific in your answers, and get to the point.

Do background research and be prepared to offer ideas for successful completion of your job. Sell yourself, but make him understand your desire to be a good employee. A great salesman is one thing, a great employee is going to be valued every single day.

I had an interview a couple weeks ago. I thought it went terrific. They seemed very impressed with my credentials. I thought I was a great fit for a small town newspaper. They said they'd call the next week. I haven't heard from them since.
