Yeah, Pacific gopher snake.


Should note that of all the gopher snakes I have ever caught, only one out of like 10-15 of the damned things hasn't torn me a new one biting the hell out of me.

Gopher snakes seem to consistently be some mighty pissed off snakes.   Once caught one that was over 6 feet long, that grand-daddy snake was the most pissed off and angry snake I've ever laid hands on.

reminds me of the youtube video of a bunny attacking a rattler...chases the rattlesnake off into a tree.

Same rodent moves-I never thought the words "bunny attacking" would be put together
