Congrats. Did you have any problems find ammo. There have been reports that 380ACP was really tough to come by. They had about 10 boxes of FMJ. I bought one but have plenty already. I will have to order some Critical Defense off the web. I'll use some .380 Cor-bon I have until that comes in. |

It goes on duty with me after days off. What does that mean? It probably means after his days off it will go with him on duty?!?!?!?! In other words, he is not working right now because he has days off. When he doesn't have any more days off, he will be on duty and it will be with him?!?!?!

good gun for the price. i bought a sig p238 before i had shot any .380
the sig seemed nice because i like the night sites and thumb safety. but then i shot a LCP afterward and it was like going from a mercedes to a pinto. i dont want to shit on your thread but if you have the coin i would recomend getting a p238. although at short range defensive shots, i dont think sights or trigger pull will matter, its just preference |

My preference for this BUG was no saftey to manipulate and as light and thin as possible Also it is replacing an AMT .380 which I have carried (and trained with) for years now. |

Congrats on the purchase. I almost picked one up last week for $299, but went with an LCR instead. I love it. Not having to stock yet another caliber, helped me make the final decision between the two guns. That, and I think .38 Special+p has a little more punch than .380 ACP. |

The LCP is my secondary BUG. My primary BUG is a Scandium .357 640PD. |

Don't know if it's still there though now. |

I paid $295 yesterday at a local (non-chain) gun shop. and he had plenty. maybe you should shop at better stores. |

Bought mine for 270 quite some time ago.
Things to note: 1. The reset on the trigger is deceptive. If you are used to shooting to reset you'll have to get used to letting the trigger go all the way forward. The LCP, at least the pre-"fix" LCPs, have a distinct 2 click reset. If you go to the first click you'll short stroke the reset and drop the hammer...but no boom-boom. Then you'll have to cycle the slide to make the gun work again. 2. Crimson Trace laser module. Seriously, dude. Buy one. |

We've got an LCP that my wife carries daily with her in her purse. I use and carry a Beretta 84, that I love, that is deadly accurate, but it's a medium frame gun with more weight. The LCP has always done good and I don't think it's ever misfired or jammmed. The light weight package makes it a pleasure to carry.
On a recent outing to do some shooting I didn't have any problem making a 1lb. coffee can dance at about 22 ft.. I think I hit it all 6 time I shot at it. I'm satisfied that with modern ammo it would make a good BUG and would be accurate enough for close-in work. There's no doubt that it's not a target gun that is a pleasure to shoot several boxes of ammo through on range trips, but for its intended purpose, it will do fine. Modern .380 ammo will ruin somebody's day, don't ever think it won't. I put a Hogue "Hand-All" slip-on rubber grip on it with a little trimming and it enhances the handling in my opinion. |

ONE magazine.
Extra floorplate with pinkie rest Warranty card w/ promise of gift if you register online. Anyone know what it is? If you register they give you a discount code for 10% off Ruger products. I used mine to pick up a spare mag, second pinkie rest floorplate for this and one for my brother's P95. It didn't make it a 'steal' but they had what I wanted all in one place. |

Is that Ruger accessory products or could it be used for 10% off another firearm? |

| I have a LCP and love it. Put in your pocket and go. I made a case for it from a leather like eyeglass holder purchased from wally world. Did a lettle re-sewing and it's good to go, never know it's in your pocket till you might need it. I've shot several boxes of various fjm & hydra shock ammo and have yet to have a jam or missfire. My wife has taken it over, she likes to carry it in her purse but I keep telling her, "If someone snatches your purse, so goes your gun." She carries it in her back hip Pocket when I remind her. While I agree the SIG is a nice piece, so is the little LCP. |
