What say ye?
Saw one at the gunshop, it was pretty cool. tiny but cool. |

Quoted: Nope I pack a 1911Quoted: I bought one a few months ago, haven't shot it yet but it does fit in my pocket nicely Surely you aren't carrying a gun for self defense that you haven't fired... I actually bought it for a girlfriend I had,she pissed me off before I took her to the range and I ejected. |

i cannot convince myself that .380 is a self defense round that I want to carry
JMO I know it has probably killed as many folks as smallpox and compromise must be made and there is great ammo out there now and all that but I just can't get over how tiny it seems even next to a 9mm round |

keltec p3at owner here. i wish i bought a pf9 instead. it is difficult to find 380 ammo and when i can find it, it costs more than 9mm. i wish i knew the pf9 existed before i bought the p3at...especially since i already shoot and reload 9mm. i had to buy new dies and stock lighter bullets. i dont see any recipes for 147gr jhp ammo for 380 :P
eta i have a keltec pinky extension for the mag, but i think its a waste of money. it sharpens the profile and makes the gun print more when pocket carried and doesnt even add any mag capacity. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I thought ball was the way to go in this caliber. |

I thought ball was the way to go in this caliber. that was what I had always been told, seen in ammo forums etc It is said now that there are rounds that will expand and penetrate I have not tested this nor have I seen definitive info (I am not saying it isn't out there) |
