I ordered something on the 16th of this month, with today as the SCHEDULED delivery date. Last night I did the package tracking and it said that the package was in a facility north of Atlanta (I live in the DEEEP southeast GA). Wake up today, no change. In fact, no change all fucking day, still shows it's north of Atlanta, but that it's on time with a scheduled delivery of today. I stayed AT HOME all fucking day waiting for this damn package. Check it at 6pm, still same thing, no changes all day. I decided to give it one more shot about 15 minutes later and then I was going to leave for a bit. What does it say? DELIVERED to OFFICE at 5:44pm. Well FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK! What part of DELIVER TO MY GODDAMNED DOOR don't you understand?!? Why am I pissed you ask? The office closes at 6pm... When I checked it at 6 mother-fucking PM, it was still above Atlanta, and at 615pm it's delivered... Not only did the driver get SUPER LAZY FUCKTARD SHITBAG DOUCHENOZZLE syndrome, he didn't even bother to knock on my door. On top of that, the fucking office employee that signed for it LOCKED IT IN THE FUCKING OFFICE as she goes home for the day without so much as a "Hey, do you need this today?"
I called UPS's 800-number listed for the local office, and got Hakeemijibadlongedesh who tells me he will forward my message on to my local office, WHO I FUCKING CALLED IN THE FIRST GODDAMNED PLACE, and tells me to expect a call within an hour. The local office calls me back from a RESTRICTED number so I can't call them back, and then proceeds to tell me what I already fucking knew, the driver was NOT supposed to leave it at the office unless attempts to reach me were unsuccessful. I explained to her that the package was important, hence why it was shipped with a set date instead of an estimated delivery date, and asked if there was a way to inform the driver NOT to leave ANY OF MY FUCKING PACKAGES at the office. She informed me that she could flag my address as "Do not leave at office" but that was the best she could do. I also explained that I have another package incoming this week and that I fully expect it to be in one piece and delivered to my door this time. Her response, "Is there any way you can call the Maintenance guys to get your package for you?"!!!! FUCK LADY, WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!?! You fucking DUMB FUCK SHITSTAIN CUNT, I SHOULD HAVE HAD MY GODDAMNED PACKAGE DELIVERED TO MY MOTHER FUCKING DOOR LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE! |
| Agreed, Fed-Ex has never done me wrong. But to leave an expensive piece of equipment laying in an office overnight that you let the office employee sign for instead of trying my front fuckin door, that's just beyond comprehension. When I found out, I actually got up and left. Got a text message from home asking what I was doing, and I just told her I was trying to relax before I ruptured a gasket over the genius that half-assed his job. I do my absolute best to keep my anger directed where it needs to be and not keep it at home. |

I had to drive an hour round-trip yesterday to pick up a 10oz package that had "signature required."
I signed the slip, left it for the driver as marked - but no go. Turns out there are levels of "signature required," that are not clearly marked on the slip.... anyway - 40 miles, 50 minutes to the distribution center and back, AND I still had to pay postage.

Ok here goes. I drive for UPS and I will try to explain so everyone understands. The shipper is the one that requires the sign. also there are laws for alcohol, firearms and certain medications. We cannot leave packages at apt. bus. or any other places that are easily accessed by the public without a sign. I myself deliver lots of the toys we all use to several different people. I have gotten to know my cutomers over the years and if they are waiting for a gun, scope or anthing else of hi-value I'll call them myself so they can get as soon as posslbe. Also you can leave a note for them to leave it with a neighbor that you trust or have it sent to your place of buisness. I am lucky all my goodies come through the center I work out of so I intercept them fi
rst thing in the am. One more thing if your tracking a package and it does'nt show much movement the shipeer did'nt put all the info in the system right. Hopefully I helped some if not any other questions I'll try to answer if I can. Jeff |

The driver delivers to this complex on a daily basis, as I see him every day when I come home from work, so this is not a new route for him. He even has a passkey to get in, as we are a gated community. He brought a package to the door yesterday just fine. But today, for whatever reason, he took it to the front office without ever trying to knock or anything. When I talked to the lady at the customer service center, she said that he possibly had a package FOR the office, and tried to kill 2 birds with one stone, but he shouldn't cut corners to save himself trouble, especially when the office was closing anyways. I really got pissed because I have purposely waited at my home all day only to find out I have to wait til tomorrow and hope the thing is in one piece. As I did not sign for it, any damage that it has can be blamed on the office instead of whoever had custody of it when it was delivered. This is not some $20 piece of crap toy, it's a $1k+ camera system, so I would personally like to know its condition when it's delivered... As for tracking, while I was tracking it, it had every other hub that it had gone to as far as time in and time out, only that stopped when it got to the hub above atlanta. Not sure what would cause that fubar. |
| I all to well know what your talking about when I'm on vacation or off for a day or two and some lazy ass fill in driver covers for me I here it from my customers. I just had shoulder surgery on friday and suppossed to be off for three months can't wait to here all the complaints from my customers. Not only are alot of thse people my customers I have become friends with them over th 5 years of delivering in this town. |

I have had excellent service from ups for years. They drive my road when unplowed, open and close the gates and dodge the cows. But oftentimes they are smarter and leave the package at the neighbors. Fedex can sometimes find my house, and I've been here 20 years!
My son works at a distribution center and believe me, they really are a bunch of monkeys. But organized monkees. |
