I am going to have a "Cav-15" Armors course this Saturday (March 23, 2002) at noon. Here is the deal, I show you how to completely assemble an Upper receiver and we all put together a lower. I will have the grill out and there will be sodas. The class is $20.00 and you get: 1. Lunch 2. T-shirt 3. Certificate Normally a complete lower is $250.00, but if you buy the one from the class, your cost for everything (lower, parts and the class) is $200.00! E-mail or call if you’re interested. I plan on doing this a couple times a year… |

How about a "Cav-15" Armors course at the BRC..? It could be very prosperous and a huge promotion for Cavalry Arms... Just something to think about. FWIW: Gin and I love our newest Cav-15's! Shawn, that, and Tim's suggestion are two of the best ideas I've ever heard on this board! I hope you'll do both, & I hope like hell it's contagious! I'd love to see a few other members consider offering these "classes" (Hey FL, that's a hint!). No one's brought it up yet, but there could be a valuable side benefit to these classes if you'd pop an upper on 'em to test-fire them. [:D] |

... This was a big hit! I had a great time, learned a lot, assembled my own new Cav-15 lower and finally confirmed that NSF Jojo isn't just a figment of my imagination fueled by some Photoshop comic book artist! (No, he is a real comic book character) ... Thanks Shawn & crew! |
| I just wanted to say thanks to the guys at CAV Arms. The class was great, I got to put together my first ar lower and meet some of the arizona members. It was a good time and I hope to bring both my sons to the next one and let them build their own first lowers! |

Guys, Thanks to everyone who came out. I'm sorry I didn't put out better notice (or better prepair), but I hope to have another class in a few months (with a better grill). Winston, your Cert. is on my desk, let me know if youy want it mailed to you or if you want to come by and get it. As far as a class at the BRC, the main problem will be getting all the parts, lowers and tools up there and then getting them back. I'll talk to Tim next week about it on the phone and see if they (Castle) want to shoulder even more burden on this (Tim loves the abuse no matter what he says!) |
