I will admit, knowing myself and knowing that period well, I would've been one of the reconciliationists to start. I'd have supported the Continental Congress insomuch as I would hope they could get the British gov't to come to its senses and calm things back down and get their oppressive policies repealed.
As soon as Gage marched on Lexington and Concord, though, and soldiers started killing fellow colonists... fuck the Crown, time to break out the musket. |
